Spring comes to Slovenia with the blooming magnolias. My grandma used to call them Tulip Trees and being a child I believed that there are two types of tulips in this world: those that are growing in the soil and those that are blooming on a special trees. First time I saw magnolia in old abandoned park in the town of Adler (near #Sochi) and since then this tree with beautiful marshmallow petals and divine smell is one of my favorite. Бабушка называла ее «тюльпановое дерево», и в детстве я верила, что существует два вида тюльпанов: те, что растут в земле и те, что распускаются на ветвях «особого» дерева. Впервые я увидела цветущие магнолии в парке «Южные культуры», в Адлере, куда однажды привезла меня бабушка. С тех пор это дерево, с его зефирными, словно птицы парящими в воздухе, ароматными цветами - одно из самых мною любимых. Не могу не поделиться этой красотой!
